The Penn State Nittany Lions had a terrific season this past year before being manhandled in the Rose Bowl up against a good USC team. Penn State went 7-1 in the Big Ten and 11-2 overall. They were 7-0 at home and 4-2 on the road. Against top 25 teams they were 3-2.

The Lions are getting respect from the online bookmakers as The Greek Sports Book has Penn State at +250 behind the favorite, Ohio State.

The Buckeyes are +150 favorites to win the Big 10 Conference and 10/1 to win the 2010 BCS National Championship, according to Bodog. Bodog Sportsbook has Penn State currently 40/1 to win the title.
