The first part of the NCAA football betting season is coming to a close before bowl betting season kicks off, and this weekend’s volley of conference championship games will surely get the competitive juices flowing in any online sportsbook players. ACC championship odds favor Boston College to avenge last year’s loss to Virginia Tech, while Big 12 championship odds say that Oklahoma will romp their way to the BCS championship betting scene with a win over Missouri. Finally, Navy vs Army odds say Navy will continue their winning streak in another edition of one of the most storied rivalries in college football.

Boston College vs Virginia Tech

The ACC Atlantic champion Eagles are 1-point favorites in this neutral-site affair, and they have won three of their last four meetings with the Coastal champion Hokies, but Virginia Tech’s win came in last year’s ACC championship game. Boston College quarterback Chris Crane is gone for the year with a broken collarbone, leaving freshman Dominique Davis to fend off Virginia Tech’s sixth-ranked defense.

Missouri vs Oklahoma

The South champion Sooners have a Big 12 championship betting spread of 16.5 points over the North champion Tigers after edging Texas in the BCS standings, and they have taken seven of their last eight against Missouri, including last year’s Big 12 title game. Missouri’s defense has been shaky at best this season, and now they get to go up against an Oklahoma team that has scored at least 60 points in their last four games, and they have a chip on their shoulder as some thought Texas should have been given the chance to face the Tigers.

Navy vs Army

The Midshipmen are 11-point NCAA football betting favorites over the Black Knights, and Army will be looking to end a six-game losing skid to their archrivals. In fact, the average margin of victory for Navy in those six wins is just over 28 points. Navy has the top-ranked rushing attack in the nation, while Army is ninth, so fans of air-it-out football will be sorely disappointed. However, if you like the option play and some good old-fashioned hatred, this is the game for you.
