However in the offseason they were hit the hardest by players bolting for the NFL and offensive coordinator Paul LaPolice left for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers’ head coaching job.
The B.C. Lions have depth with QBs Casey Printers, Jarious Jackson, and Travis Lulay. But can the Lions be a solid bet if they’re playing musical chairs again under center? A decisive starter needs to come out of preseason to gage them as a wager.
With star QB Ricky Ray and the 2010 Grey Cup in their backyard the Edmonton Eskimos are ready for a championship run. However, given that their defence was one of the CFL’s worst last year they will need to make some improvements to be considered a legitimate threat this year.
