Aussie Punter strikes gold with 150-1 parlay
Story from last weekend :
A customer from the Elizabeth Street TAB in Sydney would be happy with himself this morning after jagging a collect of almost $150,000 on this (bet placed 10.20am on Thursday) for $1,000 at 149.05 (148/1). The 10 leg multi covering no less than seven sports or leagues follows: Adelaide United to defeat Wellington in A-League at $1.55; Geoff Ogilvy to win Australian PGA at $5; AC Milan to defeat Catania in Serie A at $1.25; Boston -12.5 against Indiana in an NBA match at $1.70; Under 199.5 Points in an NBA match between Orlando and Minnesota at $1.75; Arsenal to defeat Wigan in the EPL at $1.30; Manchester United to defeat Sunderland in the EPL at $1.15; Under 218.5 Points in an NBA match between Cleveland and New York $1.70; Under 28.5 Goals in the Thursday matches played in the NHL at $1.85; Tennessee to defeat Cleveland in the NFL today at $1.10.

would be interesting if he hedged when it was up to the one last bet in the parlay.
 a 75k : 75k win win situation turning into a net loss of 75k

TAB's maybe criminals in certain ways but at least they took his bet.... I know many books wouldn't except a 1K bet to win 150k.
