I just started playing for fun.

Are there any basic blackjack tournament betting strategies? I always get a early lead and then end up losing.

In tournaments, you have to gamble big to win...

my #1 rule for myself is to be in a position to win on that last hand within that 1000 chip final bet limit. I also tend to bet opposite of what my oppenent does, if he's betting wild, i'll play real tight, he's playing real tight, i'll play real wild. Also doesnt hurt to keep a pen and paper handy to see what's left in the deck,b ut betjam usually does a suspiciously good job of keeping it all about even. Another big thing to know is that only 12% of the time will you beat an opponent and the house on the same hand, so u have to be smart with ur betting when u have position, even early on.
