CappersMall Rewards Program updated

We'd like to introduce a small rewards program (beta) for Cappers Mall members where you can use your rewards for all kinds of Cappers Mall gear (t-shirts, polo, sweatshirts, pullover, jackets, hats, visors & more). Other rewards in the near future may include sportsbook cash, free plays, subscriptions and other neat prizes coming down the road.

Starting March 1st (beta testing until further notice)

UPDATE (as of 3/1/10)

The rewards should no longer reset to 0 (we are running a final test tonight)

Many of the rewards process listed below (& original post) will be coming soon in near future. Over the next month or two we are going to continue to test what is working, what is not and what needs to be changed and add some features.

I want to stress that this entire REWARDS process system continues to be a beta version and we reserve the right to add, change, modify, remove anything regarding it.

The way I see it is go about your business and do your thing. If you end up getting something in terms of rewards than it's a bonus - if not, then I don't think that's why you are here anyway so it shouldn't matter.

Until further announcement - many of the rewards are going to be issued manually.

New Threads - 2 points per thread except contest section (automatically).

Replies 4 replies = 1 point (as of 6/7/10)

Quality Posts - Occasionally myself or other mods may issue credits for quality posts (new & replies)

Members - You can donate credits or receive credits for other members. Maybe they appreciate your posts, or whatever. These are all reviewed by me. Using multiple username or other deceptive methods could result in you losing your credits.

Birthday - If it's your birthday - post in this thread. If it matches your profile and hasn't been changed, we'll manually give you 10 reward credits. Don't come in here and say my birthday is yesterday or tomorrow. It has to be the day of.

Referrals - If you introduce someone to the forum and he ends up making 100 posts, post in here and we'll manually give you 5 reward credits. Ghosts will automatically be disqualified and you could forfeit all points.

Joining Post-up contests - Many of these contests will specify how many credits you get for joining (example march madness pool = 25 credits). I will credit these as you join, but if you don't see it in your transaction log - post it in this thread or if you prefer privately.

Post Count Milestones (not retroactive) - If you hit 100, 1000, 2500, 5000, 10,000 and every 10,000 after - please post in this thread. I will credit 10 credits when you reach 100 and 20 for each other milestone.

Poster of the Month - A poster each month will be declared poster of the month and credited with 20 points.

Sportsbook Deposits or New Accounts - ask me for details for now

Capper awards will be introduced shortly

So how do I get Cappers Mall Reward credits?

There will be several ways to get reward credits. Reminder this is in beta testing so we may add/change/delete rewards prizes or credits at anytime. Some of the way you will get reward credits now are;

* Logging in daily and viewing a thread (1) (automatically)
* Creating a new thread (2) (automatically)
* Referrals (not ghosts) (1) once per day automatically. If referral gets 250 posts, (one time 20 bonus) (manually for now)
* Post Count Milestones of 100 (10), 1000, 2500, 5,000, 10,000 and every 10,000 after (20) manually for now. Post counts are NOT retroactive. It's from this point forward.
* Best thread of the day (coming soon) (10) (manually for now)
* Capper of the Month (coming soon) (20) (manually for now)
* Poster of the Month (20) (manually for now)
* Capper of the Season (per sport) (coming soon) (30) (manually for now)
* Capper of the Year (coming soon) (50) (manually for now)

*** Reward credits will only be credited if you are using the cappersmall look main skin. The older forums skins and the iphone skin will not work. ***

Other way to get reward credits will be;

* Quality posts - On occasion I or other moderators may issue credits for a quality post, either new or replies. (Coming Soon)
* Birthday (10) automatically
* opening free sportsbook accounts (10) (coming soon)
* depositing in to CM sponsor accounts (new account) (coming soon)
* reloading in to CM sponsor accounts (CM opened) (coming soon)
* post-up contest entries (25) (depending on contest) (manually for now)
* winning certain CM contests (TBA)

and more ways coming soon! There will be random drawings that will increase your chance to win reward credits and great prizes.

GRAND PRIZES (annually)

This will happen during the December holidays with an exact date TBA. There will be two-three big ticket items that will be given away in a raffle type giveaway. The following members will be eligible to win:

* TOP 20 in REWARD CREDITS
* MODERATORS
* CONTEST SCORE KEEPERS
* CAPPER & POSTER OF THE MONTHS

The big ticket items may include an XBox, Laptop Computer & possibly a trip (this will be updated soon)

This is a beta version of the entire Rewards credits system. Credit amounts may be adjusted, modified, deleted, added at anytime. We may adjust credit system often until it's at the perfect numbers for the site. We reserve the right to add, modify or delete reward prizes at anytime.

At the current rate of this system - a member who logged in every day and posted just one new thread a day would receive approximately 1,095 reward credits during that time. That is without anything else, more threads or any adjustments. Two threads a day would result in 1,825 reward credits.

In the event we do make any change to any credit amount or prize award - those changes become effective immediately.

Any questions or requests for reward credits for anything above may be posted in this thread!

The process to claim your reward prizes will be automated shortly. To claim a reward prize until that time - you may post me a PM here.

We will try and update this page anytime a change is made to the system!
