You are allowed 2 BEST BETS per month.

1. Starts on the 1st of the month

2. We will post a thread every morning in this section.

3. You post your best pick of the day. Max of one per day.

4. You must post your line at the time of your post. Please include the full line and make sure it's current. Example - Florida/Philadelphia over 10 +100

5. You must post the game clearly or it will not count. If you are picking a team that can be multiple sports, specify the sport. Please avoid abbreviations and make it as simple and clear as possible.

6. You may use any sport that any legitimate sports book offers a line on. It must be available at a regular, legitimate book. In case of a different time zone the game must be played the day of the POD thread. The game can not be a mistake line by an individual book.

7. Anything goes with regards to your pick, all money lines are accepted and you get FULL CREDIT,

8. With rule #7 above in mind - You can use any type of wager/pick you want. Please note this still means (pick), not picks. There are no parlays allowed.

9. All picks will be 1 unit.

10. *** You will be allowed two best bets (per contest) that is worth 3 units each. Clearly mark it when you use this game.

11. Once a pick is entered - IT CAN NOT BE CHANGED, modified or deleted. In the case of a rainout or cancellation you can repost a pick.

12. Minimum of 20 picks will be required for prizes.

13. You can play any time of the day as long as it's before a game starts. Time Stamp is off slightly. I can clearly tell if you post a game after the game starts. Please don't do it.

14. SNOWMAN (thanks snowman) will post standings and try to have them done daily. If you notice a mistake, please post the problem in the current standing thread. Please be specific as possible when explaining the mistake.

15. Horse Racing IS NOW ALLOWED (ex: A specific horse. - can't do tri's, etc)

Just my humble .02 cents, but I do not like allowing all these exotic -8000 & -10000 wagers. I think it's a joke because nobody in their right mind would ever actually make these wagers & 95% of us don't even know what they are. I think any of us could just look for the biggest exotic fav & if this contest just becomes a competition between those cappers actually doing their homework & those riding donkey favs, then this will quickly become a circus. I think allowing any MLB or NHL play is ok, but allowing -8000 plays & similar is the equivalent of taking the Spurs -40 vs. Richmond U. in an exhibition & getting to bet them on the ML. Sorry, but that's the way I feel & I hope we either change it or at least put the issue to some sort of vote prior to June's POD. Thanks!
