You are allowed 2 BEST BETS per month.

1. Starts on the 1st of the month

2. We will post a thread every morning in this section.

3. You post your best pick of the day. Max of one per day.

4. You must post your line at the time of your post. Please include the full line and make sure it's current. Example - Florida/Philadelphia over 10 +100

5. You must post the game clearly or it will not count. If you are picking a team that can be multiple sports, specify the sport. Please avoid abbreviations and make it as simple and clear as possible.

6. You may use any sport that any legitimate sports book offers a line on. It must be available at a regular, legitimate book. In case of a different time zone the game must be played the day of the POD thread. The game can not be a mistake line by an individual book.

7. Anything goes with regards to your pick, all money lines are accepted and you get FULL CREDIT,

8. With rule #7 above in mind - You can use any type of wager/pick you want. Please note this still means (pick), not picks. There are no parlays allowed.

9. All picks will be 1 unit.

10. *** You will be allowed two best bets (per contest) that is worth 3 units each. Clearly mark it when you use this game.

11. Once a pick is entered - IT CAN NOT BE CHANGED, modified or deleted. In the case of a rainout or cancellation you can repost a pick.

12. Minimum of 20 picks will be required for prizes.

13. You can play any time of the day as long as it's before a game starts. Time Stamp is off slightly. I can clearly tell if you post a game after the game starts. Please don't do it.

14. SNOWMAN (thanks snowman) will post standings and try to have them done daily. If you notice a mistake, please post the problem in the current standing thread. Please be specific as possible when explaining the mistake.

15. Horse Racing IS NOW ALLOWED (ex: A specific horse. - can't do tri's, etc)

I'd vote for a (-500) cap on the favorite and no cap on the dog.

I agree with no cap on the dog but at the same time, I don't know how to prevent someone to be searching for a ping pong or handball match to play the biggest dog on the board.

I was kind of leaning towards maybe no cap in all of the MAJOR sports (NBA, CBB, CFB, MLB, NFL, NHL) but even then we would have people who will find some book that is offering some money line on the Florida Gators who are -72 against the St. Mary's Women's team.

We'll fix it up so people are still handicapping some how and also have a chance at a big dog, or even a big favorite.

Maybe you are right snow - that might be easiest way. Increased participation is good though!! As always, thanks for your hard work

maybe cap the dog at +1000...just a suggestion.

you could take a bigger dog but most you would get if you win is +1000

i dont see a problem with that...let someone take the biggest dog...the chances of a big dog winning are very slim hence the reason for the huge odds...whereas if someone just takes huge chalk they are very unlikely to lose that play..sure it can happen but very unlikely and easy for someone to go 30 or 31 and 0
