This contest will be for reward points only for now. We may decide to get another sponsor down the road. For "odds" purposes, we will use Bookmaker

1. Starts on the 1st of the month.

2. We will post a thread every morning in this section. Anyone can start the POD thread.

3. You post your best pick of the day. Max of one per day. (NFL, CFB, NBA, CBB, NHL, MLB, WNBA)

4. You must post your line at the time of your post. Please include the full line and make sure it's current. Example - Florida/Philadelphia over 10 +100

5. You must post the game clearly or it will not count. If you are picking a team that can be multiple sports, specify the sport. Please avoid abbreviations and make it as simple and clear as possible.

6. Only odds from Bookmaker will be allowed in this contest and only from the major US sports (NFL, CFB, NBA, CBB, NHL, MLB, WNBA)

7. All odds between +300/-300 are allowed

8. NO PARLAYS, NO HORSE RACING, NO LIVE BETTING (1/2 odds, etc on NFL, etc offered at all books are allowed)

9. All picks will be 1 unit.

10. *** NO BEST BETS

11. Once a pick is entered - IT CAN NOT BE CHANGED, modified or deleted. In the case of a rainout or cancellation you can repost a pick.

12. Minimum of 20 picks will be required for prizes.

13. You can play any time of the day as long as it's before a game starts.

14. Megumspuds has volunteered to do the scoring this month. If you notice a mistake, please post the problem in the current standing thread. Please be specific as possible when explaining the mistake.

1st place: 250 reward points
2nd place: 150 reward points
3rd place: 100 reward points
4th place: 75 reward points
5th place: 50 reward points
6th place: 40 reward points
7th place: 30 reward points
8th place: 20 reward points
9th place: 10 reward points
10th place: 5 reward points
Last Place: 25 reward points (min req)

For 2011 - each winner of the POD each month will compete in a special contest at the end of the year with a cool prize. So there could be 12 different winners or if you win more than one time, you will receive multiple entries. This will be a Super Bowl (2012) contest of some sorts with details will be announced soon.

Just trying to clarify the rules:
And no offense to Immanuel Kant, but where does a person find puck lines at Bookmaker?
I often bet them at 5dimes but dont even see them available at Bookmaker? We must use Bookmaker lines for our POD posts correct?
