Did you guys hear about BET US making the screw up?

My friend called me today when i was teaching at school and said that BET US had made a huge mistake with the over/under in the missouri and buffalo game. Anyways they had it at 17.5 for the entire game. My friend was going crazy.. He immediately put 2 thousand on the game and got in his pick. But they realized they had made the mistake and took the game off and took his bet away. Do you think they should have took it away? After all it was there mistake. Any input on this!

If they took the bet, and found the bad line after the bet was made, the bet should stand. They should honor it.

That's there problem for putting the line out.

agree with Cuse... any book would've taken it away. The lights don't stay on in Vegas or in the offshore books by giving anything away.

Agree the bet cannot stand. Read the sites rules! They state they have the right to refuse and cancel any bet!

What your friend should have done IMO and I have done the a couple of times Is to call the book up and make them aware of their error. twice when I did just that I was rewarded with a Free $50 bet for bringing the site error to their attention.
Honesty is always the best policy.

Karma baby !

Had a local about five years ago who put up the wrong line on a Texas-Oklahoma game. He paid off a few thousand saying it was his mistake and his problem.

Books will ALWAYS correct obvious errors and make the wager a no-wager

As stated earlier, the best thing to do is to contact the book when you see something like that and depending on the book, you may get something out of the deal

Have gotten two free plays from books on things like this
