Direct Tv Nfl Package

Hey guys I have a question. If I get the NFL package I know I can record games on the box they send. I was wondering if there a way to transfer my recordings on-to my pc? also I have a pc-related question... I want to be able to surf the web and watch tv at the same time (something like a picture in picture) would I be looking for a new monitor with tv tuner.. or tv with HDMI inputs, how does that work? Thnx in advance..
