no, it was a good lay down but those first 2 hand were brutal for him, went from chip leader to 8th place in 2 hands after he had flown out 200 people or whatever...he pulled it together and got lucky when his aq beat qq though. His play at the end when he went all in with 9 10 off was horrible.

what were the 2 hands before that? i saw the a(9?) against 88 of new york dude...but i thought immediately after that they showed the ak vs aq laydown...thought the a9 hand was the first hand of the final table...yeah i agree about the last hand that ended the tournament for him...like he really needed to shove all in there? obvious over bet...if you thought he had little then why not pump it up a bit to see where he stood...no real draws there, so if dude did call he probably had something....imo of the hands that they showed at the final table, the play was pretty bad...and man...espn wtf...every 6 minutes or so they had a fricking commercial and showed like 3 hands (maybe) per segment...fricking horrible...wpt has a 2 hr broadcast of final tables of a tournament and they show loads of hands and not just the key hands...espn did a horrible job producing this event

Forget the fact its almost a 100 hour grind compared to 8 in the sun mil. I think you'd be hard pressed to find anyone with experience to agree with you.

yeah its a longer grind because online is alot faster obviously, but both have thousands of entrants. People also play alot sloppier in the online tournys which can be good but can also screw you.

this is why 90% of the pros tell you to play cash games.

cash games are maybe 15% luck, and a tourney is close to 40% luck.

in a tourney you have to avoid being unlucky more than you have to play great poker.
