Rewards Points Books Rules Update - Please Read

You no longer have to send in the points to lock in your wager.

If you don't read anything else in this post, just read that - DO NOT send the points to make your wager, just make the post in the appropriate sportsbook thread. This only pertains to the major sports that I do, Zoom has been helping out with soccer and maybe some other exotic sports, and those will remain unchanged, prepaid wagers as they have always been.

I will grade them as I have before, post by post, and in your log the amount of points will show up as, for example, "25" or "-25", and the description, or message, will be the teams/wagers that won, as it always has. The part of grading these that takes the longest amount of time is making sure the right amount of points were sent, and the biggest mistake people make in placing the wagers is forgetting to send the points, so this will kill 2 birds with one stone. Also, this way if I want to go out of town for a day, I can without having to get online to make sure everyone has their points paid. With NBA and NHL starting soon, my log is gonna be a mess with some days of 5 or 6 sports, and I'd never be able to tell who sent what when, and for what sport.

Another thing this will help with is re-wagering points you've already sent, and waiting for me to pay so you can use them again. If you're owed points from an afternoon game, and want to use them in the night game, you may do so - but make sure the game is FINAL before wagering the points. Don't care if you have over 8.5 runs, and its 17-16, it MUST BE FINAL before wagering those points. I'll look at time stamps, so do not rewager then until the game is over.

Also, NFL teasers are fine - just make sure to post that it's a teaser, how many poiints, and the line. You can use a line from any of the posted sportsbooks in that thread to get your teaser line - all lines must come from the same book however.

2nd halfs are fine too, even on Saturday college foots - again, just make sure to get them in with AT LEAST 5 minutes left before the start of the 2nd half, so I dont have to crack down on bets after the start. If you're gonna make a 2H wager, remember it takes some time for the line to come out, to find the best line, and post it in the appropriate thread. So don't do it last minute.

ALSO - IF YOU WAGER WITH POINTS THAT YOU DONT HAVE, I WILL TAKE EVERY REWARD POINT YOU EARN TIL THE END OF TIME, SO DONT DO IT

A PS to everyone - you all have been doing a good job of posting the plays properly, making them easy to read and grade. I have noticed a couple of guys posting some shady lines, and posting them a bit late. Neither have had an impact on anything yet, so please make sure the lines and times are correct.

Lets see if I`m reading this right. If we win you pay us right? If we lose you automatically take the losses from our reward points right? I think this is a great idea!

yep exactly - you dont have to send them, i'll take them if you lose, pay you if you win - and it'll be in your log as to what happened, and why - so if there are any mistakes we can get them fixed

One more thing - since no longer sending points, if just one amount is put in, it will always be assumed risk amount

so if you post:

chicago +3 -110 for 100 points

it will be 100 to win 91

if you want to risk 110 to win 100, make sure to post as such
