Our larger punters concentrated their efforts last week on basketball, racing, rugby and cricket.

There was mixed success for the weeks biggest investors : we had $20,000 at $1.80 on Orlando and Dallas in their NBA match to produce 208 points or more, which they failed to do. But on a brighter note : $20,000 at a healthy $3.60 on Mufhasa to win the Waiklato Draught Sprint, which he did in emphatic style.

Other winning bets of note: $10,000 at $1.90 on Streets Away to win the Logistics 2yr old, $10,000 at $1.80 on Wales getting a 9 and a half point start from Kenya at the sevens tournament, $10,000 at $1.60 on Ohoka Utah to win the Petstock 2100, $8,172 at $1.57 on Australia beating New Zealand in the 3rd one-dayer, $7,784 at $1.22 on Gonzalez to beat Acacuso at the Chile ATP, $7,350 at $1.05 on Cilic to beat Veic at the Zagreb ATP, $7,000 at $1.87 on New Zealand giving South Africa a 2 and a half point start at the sevens, $6,894 at $1.50 on Australia winning the 3rd one-dayer and $6,653 at $1.17 on the same result.

In the not-so-lucky department :$10,000 at $1.87 on Florida and South Carolina to produce 153 points or less in college basketball, $10,000 at $2.30 on Fast Talker to win the SV Fillies 1110, $10,000 at $1.50 on Monkey King to win the Barton Memorial, $8,090 at $1.80 on New Zealand giving England a 5 and a half point start in the sevens final, $7,000 at $1.28 on San Jose beating Carolina in the NHL, and $6,000 at $9.00 on Nom De Jeu to win the Waikato Draught Sprint.
