Beings he plays for the royals, i will agree, itll be tough for him to put up great fantasy numbers, nobody for him to drive in, nobody to score him, not alot of protection. But I think he'll bat .310, hit 25 homers, drive in 90. He hit 50 doubles last year which will be hard to duplicate, but he'll get close if he stays healthy.

If you've seen him play, the kids got a great swing, doesnt strike out and drives the ball to the alleys

Sounds more like your talking yourself out of picking him.

Good luck with it

I already drafted him - Have him as Morneau's backup and will spot play him at DH based on matchups.

If this thread is asking if you should draft him in 2nd round and hope that he's the anchor of your lineup, the answer is no - If you're asking if he's a servicable backup, good for a spot start or injury replacement, the answer is yes.

He's not gonna have a huge 6 home run week, but he's consistent, which is what you look for in a backup

thanks for the gl wishes

Totally agree with him being a backup. Or maybe a DH during good matchups.

But there are too many other players that produce better numbers to start this guy everyday.

He's a good CI or back up. Dont like fast starters.
