Drop or Trade?

I am pretty loaded in SP, and i thought it would be ok with my RP but i need to be able to get a couple more saves a week, and hopefully a few more Ks too.

So i have a couple of SP that are underperforming, but should have ok value based on their name, Verlander and Buehrle. Should i just drop them to open up space in the roster? Valverde just became a FA, Bard, Gregg, Rodney are some of the FA available. I will also need to make space for Lilly if he comes back and pitches well.

So should i drop a couple of these guys and pick up someone from FA, or should i try to trade him. Do they have any significant value? What kind of value would you get for either? Would it be enough to trade for someone like Rauch or Cordero? or a top closer?
I could also trade for a position player, but it would have to be a fair upgrade.

this is what i have for SP:

Halladay
Buehrle
David Price
Verlander
Tim Hudson
Edwin Jackson
Ricky Romero
Francisco Liriano
Ted Lilly (DL)

and for RP:
Papelbon
Brian Wilson

Verlander is a sell high for me at this point. Buehrle is never a fantasy standout, unless u count his no no, but depending on your scoring categories could offer value. Won't ship Liriano believe he is going to be a beast this year, his slider looks great and his some pop in his cheese as well as Halladay. Hudson is going to be better than Buehrle with a few more K's. Edwin Jackson has potential same with Price and Romero. I would package something like Buehrle and Verlander and try to get a RP for insurance and maybe a guy like Prado or Scutaro (a guy with multiple positions to add insurance to you lineup). JMO

Thanks BBC.

I agree with what you said above. What level of RP you think i can get? a top 5 closer? keep in mind i already have 2 of them (Papelbon, Wilson). who should i target.

I would like a multiple position guy too, i already have Scutaro but he is only eligible for SS.

im thinking package both (Verlander, Buehrle) for 1 stud closer like Rivera, or even Rauch?

Rivera and Weeks?
Stauch and Cantu?
is it too much?

Should i just got for 1 player and open a roster spot?

What is more important to your team? A third closer that you are going to have to figure out matchups with or a quality bench player that you use in place of a struggling player? If you can get the Rivera and Weeks deal, I would take that in a heartbeat. Weeks is on a great hitting team allowing him to get a ton of chances to score and drive in runs. Cantu is doing well also but not completely sold on Rauch just yet. Id pitch the trade offer and if he refuses it opens the door for haggling.
