actually went with Tex....

just think year 2 in NYY he could be even better, and in that park its hard to pass up.

think i passed up some others that could yield more, or are bigger names....just went with a hunch!

i would have taken howard or fielder instead. one of those 2 guys were probably available at #5.

was just givin ya a hard time, i usually take hitting over pitching, looks like you do the opposite, so gl

this is my draft strategy as well.

in CM1 i didnt take a SP until rd 4 (3 keepers so really rd 7)

in CM2 i took peavy in rd 4 but my next SP wasn't until rd 8

yep round 5 was my first pitcher taken, Hamels

Makes it easy not to draft them early when Jack takes all pitchers rounds 1 thru 13

I like to wait on 1b, esp at #5, Id taken Longoria. Very good 1bmen can be had much later, guys like Sandoval, Youks, Morales, Votto etc etc

3b is so deep this year too, so I like to wait on them also - but when Arod fell to me at #5 I couldnt pass on him
