trade proposal

I have a solid OF

mcclouth, ibanez, rios, mccutcheon and ichiro

my pitching sucks!

guy wants mcclouth for oswalt.

He has quality pitchers
Oswalt, Harden, Kershaw, Nolasco, Jurrjens and zambrano.

Seems like we could help each other

its a yahoo h2h with catagory pts

thoughts ???

yeah i say why not. astros likely stay hot 2nd half like they do traditionally, you can afford to deal mcclouth IMO

Astros blow as a team.....hot streak is a mirage IMO....very weak team up and down and now w/o Berkman.

Oswalt though is still an above average pitcher and this deal makes sense as in filling a need so yah go for it.

On a side note I always knew the AL was tougher on pitchers but I didnt think it was that much tougher.

Take a look at CC Sabathia.....his peripherals arent much different from last year with the Brewers but the numbers have taken a dip. That wuss Peavy refuses to come to the AL. (I guess he cares more about stats than winning games).

I bet you anything if Halladay ends up in the NL we will see a CC like run from last year to end the season.

As far as mixed leagues are concerned I used to always value a NL pitcher more than an AL pitcher when are things were equal but now I am tilted and will take a weaker NL pitcher.

PEACE

mcclouth hasn't exactly been on fire in the mean time. Oswalt should be "back" soon and you'll be ok.
