Utley for Soriano

i have utley

my 2nd baseman: utley, weeks, a. cabrera, aaron hill (i feel im very deep here)

my OF:

j. upton
n. cruz
a. jones
j. bruce
(i feel im kinda weak here, not sold on cruz being good all year. i love justin upton but hes too streaky, same with bruce)

yes or no, why?

tough call seanie

i wouldn't do it and here's why

hill and cabrera will probably cool off and OFers are easier to pick up on the waiver wire than a quality 2B

cabrera agree, i have him because hes 2b and SSl

very tough call, but im gonna pass i think. im gonna give justin upton an OF spot, bench cruz since hes really coming dow to earth, and put hill back @ UTIL. ive had hill on the bench all week with upton @ UTIL

im gonna go with j upton / utley over soriano / weeks. i think weeks is finally breaking out, but utley hasnt even really got going yet and hes still ranked in the top 40 right now. i like aaron hill alot, hes was good last year until he got hurt.

I would do it if thats your second baseman depth chart and OF depth chart....

You have Hill and Weeks (esp Weeks) who i think could both bust out for career years.

I would def add Soriano to that outfield. I think Soriano, Cruz, and either one of those 3 will anchor your outfield.

I have high hopes for Cruz as a Ranger fan....

Utley is a solid keeper. I would be hesitant. You can trade another 2b for an outfielder who won't do much worse than soriano

evryone is hesitant on rickie weeks, they think hes fluke, i dont.

im gonna keep asdrubal cabrera because hes my backup SS with eligibility at 2b and SS.

aaron hill, noone really knows him, but right now hes the 10th best fantasy player and i use him @ UTIL and will continue to do it until he falls off the planet.....which i expect him to do.

im gonna stand pat for right now. my OF needs a stud but ill deal with it. i think adam jones is a fkin stud, and i love bruce and justin upton, and nelson cruz is slumping now but he has plenty of talent. my OF is young, but its filled with a ton of potential and utley, to me, no homer, is the 5th best player in baseball, soriano is 19.

because i wont get anything for him, he has no value, not a big name, and why trade a top 10 player?

if he falls off ill bench him or cut him

He's played on good teams all his carreer sucks in the clutch and can't field his position. If Cubs could trade him he would be gone.. To me thats overated.
