What do you think about this trade offer?

I have been offered:

Pujols
Dempster
Ellsbury

for

Halladay
Berkman

What do you guys think about this? I still have Adrian Gonzalez that I can use as a Utility batter to replace Berkman
Thanks for any thoughts on this

How big is pitching in your league? If not a pitching dominating league I'd consider it. Pujols is best fantasy player in game bar none so I'd be tempted

It's pretty big...right now, Halladay is sitting at 184 overall points and Pujols has 124...standard default cbs league settings

Guy has been after Halladay. I countered with Halladay and Berkman for Pujols and Cain

I like Cain better than Dempster and there is no telling what Ellsbury will do this year

Thanks for the response Dr. Jack

i agree with jack ... yes pujols seems like the best fantasy player, but if it is a pitching-heavy stat league, then he isnt the best player. as shown above, halladay has 184 points to pujols' 124 points ...

i think it is very important to keep in mind if it is a pitcher or hitter friendly league when trying to make trades.

I would do it also - As of now, Pujols is only the 4th best 1B too, which will change by the end of the season. So will his numbers in comparison to Halladay.

I think Cain or even Dempster will be closer in points to Halladay than Berkman will be to Pujols, so I think you're getting the better end of the deal.

Its also imo easier to fill a weak pitcher spot by finding good matchups and 2 start pitchers on waiver wire, than it is to fill a weak 1B spot
