10 Most Dangerous foods to eat while driving

Per NTSA

Can attest personally to at least a couple of these

Drive-through restaurants have taught Americans how to steer with their knees. But downing tacos and coffee while driving can be more life-threatening than shark hunting without a boat. Here are the 10 most dangerous foods to eat while driving, according to surveys by insurance companies and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration:

10. Chocolate. It melts in your hand and your mouth.

9. Soft drinks. It's not the drinking so much as the spilling -- a sticky mess.

8. Jelly-filled doughnuts. It's impossible to eat one without some of the center oozing out.

7. Fried chicken. Grease, grease, grease -- not finger-lickin' good.

6. Barbecue food. How can you get a grip on the steering wheel after wolfing down a half-rack of ribs?

5. Hamburgers. Grease, ketchup, mustard and special sauce make a goopy mess.

4. Chili. The potential for slops down the front of clothing is significant.

3. Tacos. Food that disassembles into a tossed salad should never be consumed while in motion.

2. Hot soup. Many drivers drink it like coffee, which makes chicken and wild rice soup a real challenge.

1. Coffee. The risk increases exponentially if you add cream and sugar.

Yep!!

I miss livin in Texas..... I lived in Rockport, just outside Corpus. Loved the conversation...

What are you doin this weekend? I'm goin to Austin. How far is it to Austin? About 8 beers.

I picked a friend from Cali up at the Corpus airport and had a six pack of Coronas in a cooler for him. He was shocked. When we were next to a Cop at a stop light he made sure to take a few swigs so he could see him.

Can the passengers still drink?

Dat Nguyen who played for the Cowboys is from Rockport. His family had a restaurant there called "Who Dat" Way before the Saints came up with it.
