Lightbulb 10 things that crossed my mind yesterday

In no particular order

1. Ray Lewis considered stabbing Billy Cundiff sometime last night.

2. That Eli Manning - Phillip Rivers trade keeps looking better for the Giants.

3. Rex Ryan has his dream Super Bowl matchup.

4. Tom Coughlin is the most underrated coach in the NFL.

5. Joe Philbin seems like a nice guy. It's a shame I will hate him one day.

6. In the dome - I am thinking Patriots and the over!

7. In two weeks, Tom Brady will seal his fate of being the best quarterback ever to play the game.

8. Is Alex Smith Tim Tebow without prayer?

9. I wonder who felt worse last night? Cundiff, Williams or Harbaugh's mom?

10. Yup, I can't stand Jeff Fisher and I hope the Rams lose every game.

11. CCC still has a .4% shot at kicking field goals in the NFL. Seriously.
12. CCC drinks too many beers on Sundays.
13. As a Bengals fan, I wasn't upset when the 49ers lost.
14. I could give 2 f's who wins the SB. Sucks because I want to go this year because it's 2 hours away, I could always cheer the over!

These are all awesome Jack. Better add this one though.

11. How bad will I want to kill myself when I hear that Miami has signed Matt Flynn to a 5 year deal worth 25 million?!

Seemed to me the Niners didnt play to win as much as they were playing not to lose.

Ravens one of the more consistent "Choker" teams in recent memory...cant say that it makes me sad.

Don't the Ravens equal or exceed expectations almost every year in the playoffs? I know youre a steelers fan but not sure how that makes them a choker team?

Actually, not really a fan of any team anymore. Like and root for particular players and against others more than rooting for a team. Root for Polamalu, Welker, Peyton to name a few--against Ray Ray, Rivers, Belichek, Ochostinko, TO to name a few. Free agency did in team loyalty for me in virtually all sports.

Have been plenty of teams who meet or exceed expectations over the years -- the Eagles & Bills are just 2 which come to mind. With one exception, the Ravens have always failed to seize the opportunity when it has been within their grasp. Winners win, perennial playoff losers just wait a week longer to book their tee times.

Lmao at 8 and 9. Regarding 2 I don't really agree that Eli is better than rivers. Granted rivers had a bad season but Eli was far worse last year.

1. As much as people beat up and statistically poor the pats defense is, in big regular season games and now 2 playoff games they show up when needed.
2. If not for the special teams screw up, the giants and 49ers would still be playing b/c neither offense was gonna score on those defenses.

4. Tom Coughlin is the most underrated coach in the NFL.

I would change this one to...NY Giants are the most underrated team in NFL.

Who seriously thought this team had a chance to be in this position back 6 or 7 weeks ago?

i would say they are the streakiest team in the nfl, not the most underrated. They looked terrible at times this year(wash, seattle etc.) but right now they are playing great football on both sides of the ball and its a good time to get hot obv....reminds me alot of packers last year.

eli manning is without a doubt the most underrated qb in history however
