1099 Form

Anyone know or know where I can get a calculation to figure out my approximate payment on one of these.

I'd like to know beforehand to estimate what I'm getting back this year

well.. unless it is a huge amount, calculate your taxabale income (roughly), and look at the tax table. apply that tax rate to the amount in the 1099. Thats how i would do it for a rough estimate.

lol. ok...
you obviously dont do your own taxes...
so, how were you planning on fidning out how much you were going to get back? you basically have to roughly fill out the 1040 form to get an idea...

No...I know basically what I get back cause every year is roughly the same.

I'm wondering what the taxes on the 3900 are gonna be that I have a 1099 for?

in simple terms, just caculate your normal tax rate and add a few % points and deduct as well. So, if it's 35% for you, plan on 40%
