16 Years at the same job and now

Have to start over i had the perfect job good pay close to home and 6 weeks of vacation. But over the last two years they have cut over half off there work force. I had all intentions on working there until i retired but now i have to start all over this is very hard and is starting to sink in. Iam going to have a ton of time to cap games i hope it pays off

i got cut loose not long ago after 2 1/2 yrs, got a little severance but nothing fantastic.....have been looking but agree that there's not much and definitely lower pay....i went back to school f/t a year ago to finish up, transferring and starting in january but if i had known this was coming i'd have just started now so i could squeeze in a semester without having to work f/t too and see if i could take like 24 credits lol

it's nice being able to actually spend time with my family and stuff but i'll take the first half decent thing i find probably

One year I had tons of free time and my capping really benefited from that, best year ever. You get more in tune. GL Chumly.

Sorry to hear that Chum, but I am in a similar position. Alot of us are on tender hooks, and not sure when the shoe will drop. We keep hearing rumours & such, and a meeting is scheduled near the end of the month, so I guess we will know then.
