$16k Guaranteed Rebuy on Tilt

I was playing perfect poker, was in 15th position with 170 or so people left with a stack of abou $11k (leader had $17k). Got As Qs, pot was raised by me to 360, I get 2 callers, flop comes out 5s 6s Jh, opponent raises pot to 540, I smooth call, third guy bounces. Turn comes 4s, so I hit my A high flush. Opponent checks to me, I check back. River comes
7s. Opponent checks, opponent raises to 600, I raise to 1600, he raises to 2800 (now I smell a rat, but am pot committed), I call, he turns over the straight flush. My stack is hammered, I then get killed by trip 2's and tourney over.

Good news is I didn't use one re-buy, and played amazing poker up until that spot. I should have went all-in when I hit my flush instead of slow playing and letting him hit his straight flush, but the way we were betting, there is no way I put him on playing 8 9 off like he did. I was playing a pretty tight/aggressive game and he knew I had a big hand. This one is gonna sit with me for a while.

maybe, the fact that he played that hand on a big raise shows a lot, but i should have went all-in and let him call with 1 out.

bit of a tough call for u mate. But with an 11k stack...i dunno how much he had ...a 360 wasnt enuf to force him out of a 8,9. With an A,Q suited...ida went higher to about 1200. Then it would forced him to decide if I was holding high cards or (most likely) high pair...prob folding a 8.9. But then agin...i wasnt thr. w00t.

opponent had about 13k, I don't think my preflop was an issue, think I should have went very big on turn instead of checking. if I go allin he probably folds unless he is a total donk

thanks for your opinion, always good to get opinions on hands

Don't worry Full Tilt delivered me two bad beats last night, when I was at the final table.
