25 threads or 40 threads - need your opinion please

Do you think it's better to show more threads on a page before it splits to the next page?

Example - each section, 25 threads would show on page 1, page 2, etc.

I briefly changed it to 40 threads - so now more threads would show on the main page before splitting

Here's an example in the college basketball forum

Last 40 threads are showing on first page rather than 25.

Better or worse or doesn't matter?

40...that way we can get more than just threads from the last half hour on the first page of main street

I don't think it is. I would have to look to be sure.

There is positives & negatives to both. I will change it back tomorrow unless a good majority who respond likes it at 40

Yes you can change it. Anywhere from 5 to 40 per page
