Man Tries to Cash $360 Billion Cheque

Charles Ray Fuller had a dream. He wanted to start a record company of his own but knew it would take a large amount of money to make it happen. But it wasn't a problem for the Forth Worth, Texas man.

The 21-year-old simply walked into a local bank branch and presented the teller with a cheque he wanted to cash. The amount written on the front of the paper made those behind the wickets blink more than twice. It was made out for $360 billion.

Needless to say, the tellers knew something was wrong and immediately called police. Fuller claims his girlfriend's mother wrote him the promissory note so he could realize his record business ambitions. But the woman denies the story, noting she never gave Fuller permission to take or cash anything.

The would-be music mogul is facing charges of forgery, carrying a weapon and possession of marijuana. If he's found guilty it seems apparent he'll get the kind of record he wasn't planning on turning out.

He's now free on bail and despite not receiving the cash he wanted at the bank, he still managed to write out another cheque to get himself cut loose until his trial. But this one was only for $3,750.

Heard about this on the way to work.
When I used t work at a bank, we had this guy come and present us with a million dollar cheque at least once a month. He also applied for huge loans. It got to a point that as soon as he entered the branch, security would escort him out.
