I made a deposit last Monday, and was told that I can have 1 fee free withdrawl every 30 days. Went to withdraw money this morning via western union, and now have to pay a fee.

Has anyone else ever had this problem?

I signed up with them, because they are a sponsor here. I really feel like I was misled and lied to!!!!

Did you talk to customer service before you withdrew? I made a deposit a few months back and they didn't refund my deposit fee until I asked for it. You got to make sure you ask or these books will take advantage.

I called the 800 number 3 times and no answer and finally had to do it by chat!

Depending on the amount, they only cover what the amount of the free check is. You were not misled, if you take out a check, it is free. Depending on the WU amount, you might have to pay. This has been like this for years.


Redemption requests processed on Mondays between 9:00 AM EST and 1:00 PM EST may not incur a transaction fee only if the method and account are eligible for it. You are allowed one free withdrawal every 30 days if no payments have been processed during that period. If you have received a withdrawal from 5dimes in the past 30 days you are NOT eligible for a free withdrawal. ***Payment methods with a fee of $40 or less will get processed free of charge if eligible.***

How much did you pay, and how much did they cover, on what amount of a withdrawal?

Thanks for the input, I was really pissed off at the time, and have since gotten over it. I would rather not discuss the amount if that is ok.

They'll cover $40 once every 30 days or basically every 5th Monday between 9-1 EST. 1:01 and they wont cover it.

Western Union is $25 up to 500 and $50 up to 1K. If you get the check over 1K theyll send it free since they charge $40 for that. Best bet if you want cash is take $1000 every 5th Monday and that will cost ya $10 out of ur account. GL
