5 Dimes Plans to Stay

Hey Mall,

Recently I emailed 5 Dimes and asked them of thier plans to service US bettors, here was thier response:

Dear customer,

I'll include two different e-mails I've written in the past few days
regarding the issue.

#1 The new law that has passed is unenforceable. Banks have no
possible way of knowing or tracking what transactions are for gaming
purposes. The law was tossed together at the last minute by the US
Congress. I equate this law to by the US government telling you that
you are no longer allowed use your favorite sexual position in the
comfort of your own home. They have no way of enforcing that
either. It will be many years (if ever) that anyone will even notice
this law is on the books in the US.

#2 The US Government has produced what is most likely an
unenforceable law. Even if law enforcement finds a way to
effectively stop gaming transactions, their success with be small and
short lived. Processing companies have everything to lose by not
finding effective ways around this new proclamation by the US
lawmakers. Will anyone be affected by this law? maybe. Will any
customer be blocked out completely for deposits and redemptions? NO
WAY. If people want to gamble, there will be processing available to
accommodate them in one manner or another. 5dimes won't be going
anywhere. Thank you for your continued interest in 5dimes.

I hope this helps.

Sincerely,
Tony
5dimes Operations Manager

Bravo, 5 Dimes for not being chicken$hit

Now if Firepay and Neteller go away, I hope they find new ways of depositing. I guess I could still use WU.
