7.8 richter scale earthquake hits new zealand

One of our largest one's for a long time. Thankfully no serious damage is to be known yet and no lives lost.

7.8 is up there, but due to where it was centred we got off ok.
Minor Tsunamis in Australia due to it, but no loss of life known.

That article is wrong it was 7.8 on the RS, just heard on news.

also largest EQ in NZ for 80 years wow.
