7 Plays to getting Paid

Aleana 2000 had came up with this idea in the NCAAF forum, I changed it up a little from the original post but the end result is the same. This is a fun way to build up a nice chunk of change with little risk. The goal is to turn $100 into just over 9k in only 7 plays @ -110 vig.

PLAY 1: 100/90.91
PLAY 2: 190.91/173.55
PLAY 3: 364.46/331.33
PLAY 4: 695.79/632.54

PLAY 5: 1328.33/1207.57
PLAY 6: 2535.90/2305.36
PLAY 7: 4841.26/4401.15

GOAL: $9,242.41

This is just a fun way to turn something small into something large without risking that much to do so. There are different ways of going about this, you can try to do all 7 plays in a day or 2. Or you can try doing this by doing 1-2 plays per week for 4-7 weeks. Or one play a month for 7 months. However you want to chop it up to reach the goal. If anyone wishes to add any Ideas to this feel free. Everyone that wants to give this shot can even get together and talk out our best plays every week.

i know u mean well red....and it looks like alot of money and a good time, BUT if u are truely a 100$ bettor....there is no way in hell u will risk the last 4500 on the final bet, or probably even the 1300 on play 5....jus my opinion.

not to mention if u got 6-1 or even 4-1 (take loss game 5) u show nothing...where as u would have 500 roughly in 1st case or 300 on 2nd...

I jus think money managment is smarter over time...and this system is great sounding, but unrealistic and u will be out 100 quite a few times imo.

NOW claim some profit -100$ (get ur money back)

Play 4 504 / 458
NOW claim some profit -200$ (now it worth continuing to risk)

NOW claim some profit - 400$ (worth continuing risk)
Play 7 1803 / 1639

CONTINUE if u like......But u will make the 3439 + 1000 (along the way)

so less money (unless u go 8 STAGES) BUT WAY less risk...and u can make money on your FAILED attempts

I disagree, you should stick to your system except instead of straight bets use 2-team parlays. Your profits will increase exponentialy.

Stash you bring up some great points. This system was CM member Aleana 2000 system that I just helped re-define a little. I just thought my experence from doing almost the same system in poker would help out a little.

Aleana 2000 wanted to do this with 8 plays in 1 weekend, we all know that is real hard to go 8-0 with out a loss. So I came up with the idea of doing 1 play per week for the the next 7 weeks. The varance seemed smaller by doing it this way. But it is not set in stone as I said in my first post in this thread. A player can do 1 play per month or two per week.

As for your revised system, I agree. Why work with nothing to show for it. When I did something like this in poker I did do a system like your revised one, just to have something to show for the times I went bust attempting the system.

The system is not easy, for me I like the Risk Vs. Reward factor. Like I said it would be fun.

I am going to take part in this system for fun, of course it would be nice to hit all 7 plays & I will give it my best to do so. However if I dont it is not a big deal to me.

I dont want anyone to get the wrong idea, if you only have like $100 or something do not do this system unless you dont care if you lose it. This system is like playing crap table where the casino has a edge over you. When you go to the casino to play craps or slots win or lose you had a good time in the mist of the action. So if anyone can not look at this system like that, do not try it. This system is not ment to be a great capping system or a way to beat the books easy. The system is more like setting a fun/hard goal we all can give input on to obtain, and have fun while doing so. Nothing more.

Stash thanks for some of the good ideas you added & wishing me GL, I will give it my best shot. It would be cool if you join in and gave it a try.

That is the "Double or Nothing" system that I use (see signature).
However, I don't set a number of iterations to use.
When the winnings are relatively high, I will stop that particular sequence and start a new one.

used it before but i do it with 4 or 5 days instead of 7... and usually start with 250 or something around there instead

Personally Ive used this system lots in previous years and done ok(but have usually shut it down and lowered my wager to 1/2-3/4 of my b/roll when I approach the 1600 and 2800 mark.

For sure, this is open to anyone that wants to join in. It would be nice to get like groups of 4, of people that are down for this.

So we can do something like this: (its not set in stone, but let me know what you think.

Each of the 4 group members would give the game they like for the week by Wednesday. We each would post just the game only and not what side of the game we are on. However we will post Side or Total so the other group members know what to look at. On Thursday the group will look at all 4 games individually. (Cap all 4 games.)

On Friday each member of the group will post wich side of the 4 games that they are on. If 3 out of the 4 group members are on the same side of one game, then that game will become the groups play for that week. If it is a tie like 2-2 there will be no play for that week. If the group agrees like 4-0 on 2 of the four plays if the game time is one at night and one in the AM we can do 2 plays for the week. We do the Vote so we can come up with the best possible play out of the 4 plays.

We do not have to do this exact, so if you want to add a idea to the above please do so. Nothing is set in stone.

I guess we will start this when we get 4 members for a group and we all hammer out how we should come to the group play of the Week. The above is just a start at best, we can add or change things as we see fit, or get new ideas.

Yes it is exactly that.

However.....it is much easier to pick ONE winner per day over 7 days than it is to pick 7 winners in ONE day.

Started doing something like this last year during the college bowl season and didn't hit my target then but did pull out a profit because like Stash said I couldn't simply not get anything out of getting a few right in a row so I allowed myself the opportunity to pull out a profit and still the chance to win in my quest a grand total of roughly $7100 which I ended up doing during the college basketball season. Will be doing this again when the bowl season starts back up in December, but here is how I did it.

The Quest for $7100 College Football Bowl Season

I have a simple quest for this college bowl season and that is to walk away with $7100 profit off of the bowl games. Have had a pretty good regular season and have set aside $1000 for this specific quest. If I burn threw this initial investment then the quest will be done and I will go back to my normal wagers, but hopefully I can see the return I am looking for. Will start off with tonights game and a wager to win $200, next game I will take out my original $200 and play to win another $200(400 in total), next game will be to win $400(800 in total), next game will be to win $800(1600 in total), I will then take out $600 to have $1000 profit left, the next game will be to win $1000(2000 in total), next game will be to win $2000(4000 in total) I will then take out another $1500 and play the last game with the $2500 left to finish off with $5000 in profit plus the $2100 I took out from the earlier games for a grand total profit of $7100. All I need to do is hit 7 in a row, LOL!!!! What the heck, they say this time of the year Miracles do happen so will give it a shot and see how this does

Thats ok, I thought Aleana 2000 would be in for sure since it was Aleana 2000's Idea. I agree 2 much input can be a bad thing. I guess we can start with teams of 2. So we can start 10/15-10/21 will be Play 1 of 7.

I am sure if we are the first team to hit all 7 plays others will join in as well. So lets pick some plays for next week and we will talk them out in this thread.
