Worst thing I've ever seen. Wish it never happened. God bless all that were lost.

I can still remember what I was doing at the time it was going on.

However, I can't remember what I ate for dinner two nights ago lol.

Feels like yesterday this took place. Cant believe how time passes like that. Was a little younger when this happened in middle school and still just remember the whole day stopping around this. Teachers explaining what was happening and telling us how we will always remember this day that when our kids ask us where we were or what we were doing at the moment that we would remember.

Thanks to all those heroes and to those who fight the war on terror.
Eat a pork sandwich today in remembrance!

I happened to be off from work that day. I had the TV on watching some local news show when there was a news alert. I heard a plane had hit a tower. I assumed it was some dumb ass in a Cessna or something. But then the videos started coming in, then the second one hit and the damn things fell down. Was easily the most surreal and sad day I have ever experienced. I went to a normally rowdy bar that afternoon and that place was packed but utterly silent.

Was Stern the only one to continue to broadcast that day?

I was cutting over a new phone system in a 9-1-1 center.
My friend Tommy was on one of the planes that hit the WTC. He was flying home to be with his new wife who was carrying his unborn child. He had the ultrasound pic in his hand.

I was managing a Foot Locker at the time and I had rigged the TV that played videos with an antenna so we could watch football on Sundays and it came in handy for this too, felt like the entire mall was in the store that day watching too
