AA Sucks - Enjoy Drinking

Yup, AA Sucks...

I've been there and back and everywhere and let me tell ya, drinking is something that is meant to be enjoyed... and this is key... in moderation.

Being boozed up is good stuff and I can't imagine ever trying to give it up again.

Been drinking again now for fifteen years and wish I had never stopped for those 2 weeks.

Most bad things that actually happen in people's lives stem from alcohol in one way or another. With that said sometimes its just better being drunk

step one - admit you're powerless - what a load of crap -

Stand up and realize that you have the power to control yourself -

and not be led around by others telling you what you can and cannot have -

why give them that power over you?

You're a grown man, not an incompetant weakling.

Learn to control the alcohol yourself - enjoy it - it's good stuff -

not something to be freakin afraid of.

I am a VERY occasional drinker now maybe not even that. Its more for a social engagement then anything else. I can have fun without the booze, a soft drink is just as good for me.

I feel sorry for anyone that doesn't drink because they feel that they can't control things.

Some go for decades without drinking because they're afraid.

How sad is that, to live life in fear and not be able to drink.

What a waste.

I decided that I love to drink and that I wouldn't be so stupid as to go without it.

I drink 1-5 drinks 3-4 days a week, but have been drunk about once or twice a year in the last few years. Only really happens when I'm out and somebody starts buying rounds of shots with the beers. I usually just lose interest before I get too much down.

I used to drink beers mostly during football, but then the NCAA said "screw it" to their policy of not playing on Fridays during high school football, then they added a Tuesday game and now they play like 2 or 3 every Thursday, so now football is on every night but Wednesday.

My biggest side-effect from drinking is weight control problems. (knock on wood)
