Advice for upcoming MLB Season.

I'm new to this forum gentleman and would like to share some tips for the upcoming 2010 baseball season. I am currently handicapping from last years statistics and have found something I thought you baseball bettors might want to read.
I took the top ten pitchers with the best ERA and went through their last 20 games of the year and found that 63% of those games went under the total for that game. The record worked out to be 123 under - 72 over. I figured if I wait to about June and take the top ten ERA pitchers and play the under in their last 20 games I possibly could make some cash. I know it's a new year and the record may not be 63%, but what are the chances it would be under .500?

Welcome to the mall nrc. I like your thinking on this. When I bet on baseball I don't tend to look at the teams so much as I look at the pitching matchup. Really awesome info you have provided.

The record definitely will not be below .500 for big name pitchers going over the total but as you already know it may not be 63% again. Just be sure to pick your spots and maybe YOUR picks can be 63% or higher. Good luck!

You would have to wait until June, then you would have a clear picture of who is the top ERA pitchers. It may be to much to bet on every game they are pitching in, but, who knows, maybe if you bet on every game you might earn some serious cash. I'm afraid if I wait and pick my spots I may miss out on a lot of Under games because I thought it had no chance of going under because of the other pitcher/team. I will have to look at the 2008 stats and compare with the 2009 to see if the record is around 60%, I will post that stats as soon as I find out.

If my English seems to be a little odd at times, don't mind it, I am from the Atlantic Provinces in Canada, we tend to have a different form of English. Excuse me.
