Probably anyone could manage a team like the Ravens. However I think a successful, winning team requires a quality coach.

how hard can it be to tell a pitcher to pitch a ball as good as possible... and tell the hitter to smash the shit out of the ball or help out the guys on 2nd and 3rd base?

the toughest part of the job must be managing teh training schedule with the bi-weekly visits at the local vets to refresh the doping.

completely disagree. Baseball manager is constantly strategizing. And not just for the game at hand. But the next day and the day after that. Football coach only has to worry about 1 game at a time. And only 1 game per week. Plus, the coordinators and line coaches do ALOT more in terms of planning than the 1st and 3rd base coaches do.

Evan: What? One name? ONE NAME!?!? Who are you? Seal?
Seth: Fogell, this ID says that you're 25 years old. Why wouldn't you just put 21, man?
Fogell: Seth, Seth, Seth. Listen up, ass-face: every day, hundreds of kids go into the liquor store with fake IDs, and every single one says they're 21. Pssh, how many 21 year olds do you think there are in this town? It's called f*cking strategy, alright?

keith and eek...I set this post off in a bad direction. I thought it said MLB coach when it said NFL. Therefore I responded using the Pirates as an example, starting this cycle of wrong answers!

LMAO...I have got to stop posting until after 10am as my brain dont work until then.

I should have just said..."what the hell is wrong with guyz" ha ha ha

Wait a minute THIS IS JACK"S FAULT...whew, his post f'd me up from the get go. Thought it was starting out a horrible day!

I've seen a few idiots manage a baseball team, albeit not very well.
