Possibly a little overrated but that's only because he is rated as one of the best of all time.

Godfather II was his best movie imo.

Al Pacino is a legend. His performance in Scent of a Woman was classic.

hes a little overrated def

hasnt hurt that hes been involved in some very good projects surrounded by very good actors, directors, and writers

nonetheless because he selects good projects he always seems to be in great movies

if Al Pacino is overrated, then so is Robert DeNiro.

funny how Deniro always gets brought up in Pacino discussions and vice versa.

As far as what both have done since heat (which wasn't even their best movie anyway)

Pacino since heat

Donnie Brasco - sick
The Devil's Advocate - not bad
Any Given Sunday - not terrible
Insomnia - good

Bad movies since Heat
The Recruit - pathetic
Two for the Money - terrible

De Niro since Heat

Wag the Dog - ok
Jackie Brown - cameo
the Score - not great but not bad either.
Ronin - I didn't like it much but it wasn't that bad.
Analyze That - funny in some bits.
The good Sheppard - Sick movie that he directed and acted in.

Bad movies since heat

15 minutes - shocker
Hide and Seak - disgraceful
Meet the fockers - didn't like it.

that wasn't all there movies, just some of them.

UVA when you say, "he hasn't done anything since Heat" the first thing that comes to mind is that you must have come into his career too late.

Godfather
Godfather II - Oscar Nom.
Serpico - Oscar Nom.
Dog Day Afternoon - Oscar Nom
And Justice For All - Oscar Nom
Author! Author!
Scarface
Dick Tracy - Oscar Nom.
Glengarry Glen Ross - Oscar Nom.
Scent of a Woman - Oscar Win
Carlito's Way
Heat
Donnie Brasco
Any Given Sunday

Some of the best characters in history were created by Al Pacino.

that's why i said since heat

forgot about donnie brasco, i even have that movie, my fault for forgetting that

he is an amazing actor, but in the last 12 years, he's done 2 respectable movies

any given sunday ranks as the worst movie of all time on my list
