Alittle Help

Writing a paper on social change need some help. Basically was wondering what life was like growing up in the 1940s. Any grandparents around that could give me some insight would be greatly appreciated.

If you do not have access to someone who actually experienced the 40's first hand, then you would have to do a bit of thinking (and research).

Look at how you and your parents live life now.....then compare it to how your grandparents lived their lives in the '40s.

Compare everyday things such as:
cell phones vs telegraph
colored tv vs black and white tvs
modes of transportation
conveniences such as computers
rights of people
etc
etc

It should give you a start on your paper.

Good Luck.

You can also compare how things were and how things are now...such as:
racial equality/tolerance
gender equality/tolerance
crime and punishment
etc
etc
