So my work decided to go ahead and block a shit ton of sites from my computer, cappersmall included since it's gambling related

There's a program on all the computers now that block certain sites etc. Now if you need a link to solid porn or whatever I am your man, but I'm clueless about how to get around this one. I'm sure there are ways, so let's hear em

it depends on how sophisticated your setup is but you might be able to get to those sites using a proxy. use google to figure out how to set it up.

what's ****ed up is that they really don't even check anyone's computers at all. i guess just trying to avoid sites that might contain anything illegal, or viruses, or whatever

gonna have to look into this, but with my attention span i'll start reading into it, not understand what a few of the words mean, and give up

one thing i tried that did not work for me, but may work for others is to download and install a mobile browser (example http://mobilefirefox.com/ ) on a usb drive and see if you can bypass the filter by keeping all your internet browsing and history on a usb drive instead of your work computer.

again, it didn't work in my case, but could work against weaker filters.

Have you got a home computer? If so, there are many ways to take control of it from the office and browse that way.
