American Jobs

Wanted American Job!

Joe Smith started the day early having set
his alarm clock (MADE IN JAPAN) for 6 am.
While his coffeepot (MADE IN CHINA) was perking,
he shaved with his electric razor (MADE IN HONG KONG).
He put on a dress shirt (MADE IN SRI LANKA),
designer jeans (MADE IN SINGAPORE)
and tennis shoes (MADE IN KOREA).
After cooking his breakfast in his new electric skillet (MADE IN INDIA)
he sat down with his calculator (MADE IN MEXICO)
to see how much he could spend today.
After setting his watch (MADE IN TAIWAN)
to the radio (MADE IN INDIA)
he got in his car (MADE IN GERMANY)
filled it with GAS (from Saudi Arabia)
and continued his search for a good paying AMERICAN JOB .
At the end of yet another discouraging and fruitless day checking his Computer(Made In Malaysia),
Joe decided to relax for a while. He put on his sandals (MADE IN BRAZIL)
poured himself a glass of wine (MADE IN FRANCE.! France !! )
and turned on his TV(MADE IN INDONESIA),
and then wondered why he can't find a good paying job in .. AMERICA .....

Y'all gotta keep this one circulating, please!

errr.... i know im gonna get flamed for this... but the way i see it... itisok for all he manufacturing to happen overseas... we should really care about the good paying jobs like the designers fo the chips, the cars, etc. Also owning the brand that they manufacture is not a bad thing as the money would come back to the US.
i hear you though... we do need more jobs here but we need to move from low paying jobs to high paying jobs... how do we do that? by educating our population so we dont depend on having minimum wage positions but by being well educated to take onto higher position jobs; managers, designers, architectures, engineers, etc.
Yes, there will be some people that wont get it; and we will need some people to do the banal jobs around here. but we hafe to reduce the number of uneducated people here... worst case scenario we can bring uneducated immigrant workers to help out at livable wages...

Of course Joe Smith can't find a job. He was a bust from day one, goterps knows that.

Oh, and you forgot this part,

He picked up his phone (MADE IN NEW ZEALAND)
and called his first illegitimate son (MADE IN THE CONGO),
asking him to wire some money ($5),
so he could buy some GHB (MADE IN HOLLAND)
to help him impregnate another woman (no aids, kthx)
