American Tourists in Canada

Civic Holiday today in Canada. Managed to take the day off and visit the new War Museum that was built three years ago. Very nicely architectured along with many provoking exhibits and newly acquired artifacts from all wars. Only $10 for admission and I will go back and visit there in the near future. I took about 100 pictures--mostly from vehicles that seen combat already. Bought 2 British & 2 German infantry figurines from their boutique and that took $100 out of my wallet .

Staff was really nice, and so were the people visiting. Oh yeah--visitors--those visitors were mostly Americans. I can always tell an American tourist from a Canadian tourist. How? Not only are they are nicer but they are more paranoid. It just goes to show what goes on in their own hometowns and they think we're all crooks and flim-flams and riff-raffs too. But they find out soon enough in disbelief how trustworthy this city is .

And lastly, American drivers...I keep my distance from them just like emergency vehicles: STAY BACK 500 FEET. Learned my lesson from two tourists a few years back driving in the fast lane. These tourists just put on the brakes spontaneously to a dead stop and then turned left. Don't know what they saw but was lucky I didn't hit them as I was in a hurry to go somewhere and that would have delayed me a good hour if not more.

I know, I know...u guys probably think the same (conversely) of Canadian tourists too in your museums and city streets.

Luke I make sure to stay out of the fast lane over there, I've seen some speeds by Canadians on the QEW that rival NASCAR.

In the last 3 weeks in DC...my direct dealing with 3 Canadians..

1. 3 stealing money(coins) from a fountain to collect quarters with the states on the back...LOL....They told us that they thought it was ok to just steal the money

2. 1 pissing on the side of a building at 3pm within view of many people and children and many public restrooms available also.....he went to jail for the weekend...have a nice vacation sir and sorry you will miss your flight home and have to come back again for court(see here in DC,if you get arrested on a Fri. you sit in jail till Mon.)

3. 1 female from Toronto swimming in a fountain...Said she thought it was a fun thing to do....Well I did laugh at it cause I really could give 2 shits about it....her reaction when I told her that the night before all outdoor water was quarenteen due to 20+ dead ducks in the ponds and fountains...was priceless.
Told her she may wanna go to the hotel and shower off right away.



See....some of you Canadians are just plain stupid and comical....I'm sure it works both ways too as I know we are stupid too.

WCI: I don't mind in the car, it's behind that bothers me .

Chris: Those are probably the kids that still live with mom & dad, have a part-time job and spend all their paycheck on their "suped-up" cars. Those kids are really organized--they have at least a dozen cars rolling at about a mile distance between each and radio each other if they see a cop. The first car or two follow the speed limit but not the others tailing .

Big Pimpin: Guess what BP...guess who I saw last weekend? Mira. Remember her? Mira Manes? She works at the local crematorium in Eastern Shore, Md. She asked me to tell u to give her a call at work .
