No surprise on the international end. Formula 1 racing is the 2nd biggest global sport behind soccer. Since it is an individual sport it makes sense that Alonso can make that kind of cash when you consider the kind of sponsor money in racing and the big bucks of the automotive industry.

really surprised.. as this is a first. Gerk hasnt bust on the Yankees seeing that both A Rod and Jeter are on this list.
