guy lives here in austin, see him at the bars all the time...is constantly hammered, he's a real poon hound, ill give him that. Doesnt take tennis nearly as serious as federer or nadal obviously but he is the face of USA mens tennis right now and will get paid until someone else comes along.

i will agree with that..their love the dude because he is an american and it is an american network (which is totally crap seeing the media is suppose to be unbiased)...the hyping of roddick/federer was laughable..dude was 2-15 lifetime against federer and they were saying dude has a chance because he has his serve (which imo isnt really the best on the tour) and lost weight during the off season....pretty ridiculous how they gave him so much of a chance in that one

if you want to laugh at someone getting sponsorship for really never accomplishing anything in tennis take a look at feliciano lopez..dude is a spanish tennis player and is the only one you see on usa tv with a commerical for one of the biggest tennis companies in wilson...how that happened is beyond me..you don't see roddick commericals like you did last year and the year before..he still does lacoste but you don't see comerical spots with him anymore

more exception than the rule to his game rev, more of a choker than a success on any level...as touched on in the thread earlier...only reason he's getting dollars is he in fact the best of the worst lot in years....timing everything here.....
