Any Chance Toronto gets an NFL Team?

Bills vs Skins game coming up this week in TO. So we are going to be hearing this talk among the local media and talk shows in our area. I don't think its going to happen for quite some time with so many untapped American markets.

I think Toronto will get an NFL team eventually but I think London gets one before Toronto does.

LA will get first expansion team. I could also see a team in San Antonio.

Another NHL team in this market would be fine and would survive, can't understand why it hasn't been done.

besides LA, not many untapped US markets that could sustain an NFL team

Jax cant and they have a team...

Toronto definitely big enough, but is their real NFL interest? all year around?

investors?

Rogers Communications, the multi-billion dollar corporation that owns the Blue Jays has been after the NFL for years. Especially when it wouldn't just be North America's 5th biggest market's team (Toronto), but essencially Canada's team which would be huge.

What, if anything, would this do to the CFL market in Eastern Canada?

(not being smart-ass, seriously curious)

When they had good teams, the Raptors were regularily top 10 in attendance. I was actually surprised the support the NBA got in Toronto. And you're not comparing a horrible product like the NBA to the NFL are you?

Plus... Hockey and Football are by far the 2 most popular sports in Canada.

I think both could survive. The Toronto NFL team would be a Nationally followed team, and the CFL would still be regional, with the main support and strength being situated in the West.
