Any pro athlete cost you a bet & it sticks out in your mind?

When Mario Chalmers made that 3 against Memphis - that was a big swing. Would have won a big local pool & that always sticks in my mind

A couple of closers come to mind as well

what about you - anything stick out?

Jason Terry. Mavs Denver in the playoffs a couple of years ago. I was at the game and threw a large wager on mavs -2.5. The mavs up 4 with under 7 seconds. Melo hits a fade away to cut it to 1. They foul Terry with 1.7 seconds left. Makes the first one but then I recall that Denver was out of time outs to Terry missed the second one on purpose so they would have to make a 3/4 court shot to win. So I lose by a half but my team wins the game.

There was a regular season game back in the 90's between hawks/bulls during the bulls great run of 6 titles during the decade. Game is in chicago. I have atl+11.5. Bulls lead by 11 in the last few seconds. Scottie pippin could have just dribbled the clock out instead pulls up for a 3 pointer with no one guarding him and makes it at the buzzer. Scottie was laughing because he knew he stuck it to people like me and covered the number for the bulls.

Chris Duhon hit a worthless half courter at the buzzer in a Final four game I believe against Uconn for the cover. Cost me a 4 team parlay and the bet....big swing.

Also, Dwayne Rudd (??) of the Browns took his helmet off at the end of a game once for an unsportsmanlike. The game can't end on penalties so it was assessed, put the other team in field goal range, and they made the kick and cost me a Browns cover. Would love if somebody knew exactly what game that was, I can't remember just know it was the single craziest thing that ever happened to me regarding a bet.

It also involved a lineman rumbling with the ball for about 30 yards after the QB fumbled, and the penalty was assessed from where he went down, absolutely nuts.

Tony Allen fouled Chauncey Billups on a 20 foot fadeaway corner jumper in a tie game with .2 left on the clock. Needed 4 points for the over, Billups hits both I lose in regulation. And on top of that I broke my tv, so in addition to the 300 i lost on the over, Tony Allen also owes me a plasma tv.
