Any REAL Athletes?

Anyone in here play any type of sport as more than a hobby? Not just now, but anytime in their life?

I had a Scholarship offer from Texas St. to Long Jump there after High School, and not a scholarship, but a guaranteed spot to play Hockey at Southern Maine.

Tore my Meniscus in my Sr. year and they both disappeared pretty quickly.

Was just curious if we had any other athletes at the mall.

I played basketball at Sac St for two years then dislocated my ankle. Ended all basketball dreams.

After college I played golf on the Buy.com Tour for a couple years. Now called the Nationwide Tour.

Pigeon..... I did long and triple jump in highschool. You must of been pretty good to get a scholarship. That shit wrecked my knees

In highschool I played against Gary payton, jason kidd, brent barry and jon barry. took them all down! 6 white guys and we went to the state championship

was excellent pitcher in high school but tore my rotator cuff. Had some lower tier D-1 offers but never signed a letter of intent and never was the same player. I only got exposure because kid on my team was the 5th overall pick in the 03 draft.

played JV hoops sophmore year only because I have a sweet stroke, other than that I pretty much suck. stopped playing because junior year we went to Florida and Cali for baseball to play in tourneys.

used to be in decent shape when I played sports. always wanted to play golf but i'm awful

7.25 Personal Best and consistent from 6.90-7.10 in my jumps. Not bad for a white kid. Knew you were a heavy golfer, didn't know you were that good. Any decent money on the tour?

Same type of deal for me. Everyone there to look at someone else and I just got noticed.

Played what we call Rep. Soccer (basically an elite team for each city/town) across Ontario. Played for a very long time. Highest I got was to the Ontario team for 2 games. Every position...ended my career as a goalkeeper. Continued playin until last year, Aug. 14th when I shredded my patella tendon.

Also played rep. baseball for 2 years. 3rd base/left field...leadoff batter.
