Anybody use a Scotty Cameron putter?

I'm buying a Scotty Cameron putter for my Dad for Father's Day. I don't know much about them, but I hear they're supposed to be really well made (and expensive). Anyone here use one?

Your just buying the name. If your Dad always wanted one and/or if you have the money to burn, go for it.

Looks like you have taylored your game after mine.......unfortunately, putting is not my only shortcoming.....Consistent driving, and short game is nothing to write home about

it's a really good putter but it's also the most expensive one. i currently use a taylormade putter but i will probably get a scotty for my next putter. if you think about it, drivers cost the same amount and get used 14 times a round. the putter gets used around 36 times a round so why not spend the same. that said, you can find some good putters for much cheaper. oddessey makes some good ones.

My Dad turns 70 soon and I wanted to get him something really special. Even if it is just a name I think he'll be proud to say that his kids got him a Scotty Cameron.

All the guys that say something bout cheaper putters have never spent the money and don't know shit. Putting is 90%confidence and yes it gives u more confidence. Yes u do make more putts b/c of more confidence & better feel. Well worth the money. Why spend $100 & always say "wish I had that scotty". Yes buy it!!

My Dad usually shoots in the low 80s. If a Scotty Cameron could help shave off even a few strokes per round, then the money would be well worth it.

Even if it doesn't, he'll still be able to say with pride to his golfing buddies that his kids bought him a well-designed way-over-priced putter.
