Anyone been involved with quixtar

I have a buddy who is taking me to a seminar tonight in Cleveland to learn about quixtar and after doing some research I havent found anything too positive. I have always been interested in my own side job with great potential and upside. However, being an Independent Business Owner (IBO) through Quixtar seems to be a scam. It reminds me much of Amway that was busted for their pyramid schemes. Quixtar finds their way around the pyramid scheme, but to me isnt much different. Just curious if anyone has ever been involved or know much about this. Any kind of info is helpful.

Thanks

Epstein how does it exactly work? They promise so much, but just like your situation it seems to have hurt more than helped.

Well I went to the seminar and needless to say it was something new and interesting to me. It seems so promising and the multi-millionaire you get to meet is very inspiring. However, I agree with all of you that it is a money making pyramid scheme. My feeling is why should I sell products and make business volume for someone else who reaps most of it. On the optimistic end, it is still a potential market with e-commerce just reaching the 10% of market penetration, which is the critical mass. If the e-commerce has as much potential as they say, then in a 6-8 year powerwave it could reach 90% of the market. While the market is still young why not start your own business and get others under you and capitalize on the power of duplication? Thats a question I am pondering on at the moment. But after seeing very respectable people in here against it and reading bad things online about the company I am still skeptical.
