Lightbulb Anyone Buy One Of These 80-inch Sharp TVs?

They look massive and impressive. Im tempted to drop 4 stacks on one...

However, I mean a 60 aquos is only 800 dollars... From owning a 62 inch tv, that was enough... but I mean an 80 inch tv has to be like an out of body experience. no?

Currently reading a book about finances -
what we spend is TIME , ,not money

So say you make 30/hour what's your take home pay less taxes , less maybe
union dues , health care ,co pension, etc ,
say you're making $ 20 per hour net

Now take your 4 g's divide into a year ,

How many after tax hours you have to work
to make to get that 1 item?

i'd wait a yr/2 price drop ..

Will make you think TWICE about buying a THING ...

will post couple simple other things on finacial stuff

: )

an LCD home theatre projector at 1/4 the price does almost the same job if not more...actually mine goes up to 18' X 12'

when I watch a rock concert it's like I'm on stage

when I watch a football game it's like I'm on the gridiron

when I watch a porn flick it's like...you got it, I'm in her room.

my buddy bought one (not sure the make) for $800, it's setup on his wall at 130" in HD...it is the most amazing picture I've seen...and when he slides in a Blu-ray un-fu*king believable!!!

my next purchase will be a HD projector

I don't think they are as sharp as the "smaller" TV's.

The bigger the screen the lower the ppi gets.

90 % of it still apllies to Americans ..

here's another ex :

Every financial planner recommends
6-9 months of after tax income to carry us through rough patches
heck even Suzy Orman show does
who doesn't - the author of this book ..

why ?

What is the DEFINITION OF AN EMERGENCY?

Kramer is stressed out at work and needs a vacation to Jamaica .
(spend emergency fund , build up later)
It will revitalize him.
He'll come back recharged .
Yes its expensive and we don't have the cash to pay for it NOW ,
we'll put it on visa, pay it later ..
TRUTH - KRAMER WANTS TO PARTY ...

HOT TUB - I beleive this will save us money -
we'll spend more time at home , eat drink out less
save money

TRUTH - KRAMER WANTS TO PARTY

FINISHED BASEMENT - (spend emergency fund)
We need a place away from kids in our house ,
and host friends have some drinks ,

FOR A GOOD TIME CALL KRAMER
together , have neighbours over ,

ex 2 - i have a house worth $ 100,000 ASSET?
SAY WHAT WHERE T.F** you live your house worth $100,000?

well its worth $500,000
paid off , but when i'm 60 will retire into 300,000 condo
have real estate fees , lawyers fees , moving fees ,
etc , etc

my new condo has $300/month condo fees from
age 60 to age 80?90?100

set aside 75,000 for future living expenses...

there u have it ,
my 1/2 million home isn't really worth
diddly cause i still have to live somewhere
either
buy condo
pay rent , etc

time for a new financial thread-lol
