Post Anyone else get depressed when you don't win the big lotto each drawing?

I know the odds are stacked and it doesn't look good but I always get a little down that I didn't win again. lol

As if I have a chance to win each time

Everytime I look at my losing numbers I always think to myself, "Fuk, now I have to go work tomorrow".

I do as I often miss the pick 3 or pick 4 by one number. Pisses me off. Just happened last night - I had 3 of 4 in the pick 4.

I heard someone describe winning a lottery with this analogy:

Go out to a sports stadium and walk out onto the football field...walk randomly to any spot, drop a pin into the grass and have it strike an ant that just so happens to be walking underfoot.

That's your odds of winning the lottery.

They say the lottery does more harm than good and I guess they had a show on winners on HBO recently. I guess the rich folks won't accept you if you move into their neighborhoods and the folks you knew resent you for winning.

I could picture this being the case and I'd sure like to find out but come to think of it I quit playing the Powerball and Megamillions jackpots since the odds are so lame and have just accepted the fact that the state lottery is nothing more than a tax when I decide to play.

Like I have said before, I havent even won a ruffle draw in school lol, so to win the lottery would likely give me a heart attack. With that said, I will play & since its only a few dollars, its worth the investment. As the old saying goes, if you dont play, you cant win.

A guy in town here won and he was already in business he had taken over the store from his old man, his only competitor is a young guy starting out in life. As a consequence I find it hard to take my business to the millionaire as opposed to the young guy starting out in life. I imagine others feel the same too.
