Anyone else have an esophageal stricture?

It's when the esophagus begins to narrow. I have had this for years and it is pissing me off. Then I have to to get it out.

so is this like reflux because I used to throw up all the time. They took my stomach out about 10 years ago. No more heart burn, no more reflux, but I run for the toilet.

I believe it is a result of GERD or acid reflux. A narrow ring occurs in the esophagus which makes it difficult for me to swallow some types of food. Sometimes in gets caught and I have to either to drink some water slowly or try and vomit it back up. There is a procedure were the doc. puts this tube with a balloon attached to it. They expand the balloon when it is past the narrow part of your throut then break up the scare tissue.
